SUCCESSFUL BIAZZI HYDROGENATION PLANT START-UP AT CHIMEX (L'OREAL GROUP)

Biazzi (Switzerland ) delivered to CHIMEX Mourenx (France), belonging to the L'Oreal Group, a 2 m3 /30 bar, Hastelloy hydrogenation unit fully remote controlled. This plant was successfully started up in a short period of time fulfilling all contractual duties.

The laboratory tests results were repeated at large scale confirming the easy and direct scale-up with Biazzi reactors.

Besides high gassing requirement and heat transfer duties at low temperature, the cleaning of the plant was of utmost importance. For this reason a cGMP execution was chosen.
